Tayseer Khaled: Dennis Ross, a Zionist Likudnic who aspires to be an adviser in the new US administration
December 5, 2016

Tayseer Khaled, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, wrote in his blog on (Facebook and Twitter), commenting on the ambition of Dennis Ross to assume a political post in the next US administration that enables him to serve the interests of the Israeli State:

Again, Dennis Ross; the known Zionist Likudnic in the (Washington Post) newspaper ,appears and presents himself as a possible adviser to President Donald Trump and authorized to administrate the Palestinian - Israeli conflict, by the same previous way.

He added that Ross, the influential adviser in (Washington Institute for the Near East Policy), who recently has arranged behinds the scenes the Palestinian - Israelis dialogue in one of the European capitals, is active and aspiring to return for playing a role in the Palestinian - Israeli conflict management as well as the role he was engaged by, in the administration of both George W. Bush and Bill Clinton ,and in the first presidency of Barack Obama, and he is going to offer his advices for the next US administration.

Khalid continued that the first of these advices was that the next US president Donald Trump must launch first a diplomatic process as Hillary Clinton did, when she was the secretary of state, and that he should not begin his reign with large initiatives without well evaluation for them and see how successful they are.

For further clarification Dennis Ross adds that the initial efforts which have to be done by Trump must focus on overcoming the doubts of the two sides as well as strengthening the Palestinian economy and infrastructure in the Palestinian territories.

Tayseer Khaled concluded, by saying: Briefly, Dennis Ross proposes on the next US administration to continue the conflict management diplomatically, but not to resolve it, it is also the diplomacy that enables Netanyahu to move forward in his Zionist project to control on the ground and plant it with settlements under a fake political process that does not offer for the Palestinians more than improving their standard of living under occupation.
