DFLP affirms its position on the side of those affected by the Social Security Law

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) denounced the measures taken against the demonstrators at Arafat's roundabout in Ramallah last night, by cutting off electricity and compelling them to leave the sit-in , which has been disrupted by the labor movement protesting against the Social Security Law, which the Palestinian Authority government is trying to adopt without taking into account the opinion of workers and young employees and their suggestions, in order to guarantee their interests and providing them with social justice.

The Front stressed its stand on the side of the widest social strata calling for a fair social security law that cares for the interests of the underprivileged and working groups in the society, and does not take the interests of businessmen, at the expense of the wider ranks of our Palestinian people, in their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli occupation and siege, and the economic restrictions imposed on them through the applications of the Paris Economic Protocol.
