DFLP calls on associations of international and Arab writers and journalists, to condemn the repression policy that has been practiced by Israel against our people

A spokesman for the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), has issued a statement condemning the storming of eight media centers in Ramallah, Hebron and Nablus by the Israeli occupation authorities, in addition to confiscate their contents, including, equipment, documents and others. He considered this barbaric act, a blatant assault on the Palestinian media and a blatant attempt to silence them, which reflects the Palestinian people's opinion and feelings against the occupation and settlement, and upholds its right to national salvation, freedom, independence and return.

The spokesman of DFLP condemned the pretext that the occupation authorities have said, that the institutions, that were attacked, have been accused of exercising incitement, and considered this pretext as a clear insistence of the occupation authorities to impose its arbitrary measures on our people; including arresting, killing confiscating land, expanding settlements, reinforcing the occupation procedures and at the same time, preventing our people from the right of defending themselves, not even by media, before world public opinion.

The spokesman warned to continue this dangerous policy based on repression, especially as that match with the repressive measures of Palestinian Authority, which affected a number of bloggers in the Palestinian Bank.

The spokesman called on the human rights organizations, writers and journalists associations in the world, especially the Arab ones, to raise their voices in defense of the freedom of Palestinian media in its battle against the occupation and settlement.
