DFLP condemns the Arab "Six-Party Committee" negligence for our people's uprising

The spokesman of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued the following statement:

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) condemned the fact that the Arab "Six-Party Committee" met in Amman, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, and completely ignored the popular uprising in Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza Strip, which demands nationalist and brotherly duties and political and material support from the Arab countries in confronting the occupation and settlements, especially the projects of Judaization and Israelization, practiced on the city of Jerusalem .

In its statement, DFLP asked about the reasons that made the Arab "Six-Party Committee" evading from its responsibilities in supporting the Palestinian civil bodies and social, cultural, educational, and health institutions, in light of the American threat to stop its contributing to the funding of PA and the decision to stop contributing to the funding of UNRWA, in order to pressure on the Palestinian situation to submit to the American-Israeli policies and projects towards erasing the legitimate national rights of our people and resolving the Palestinian issue outside the resolutions of international legitimacy.

The Front added that the emphasis on diplomatic and political move in international forums without being accompanied by a popular struggle in the field against occupation and settlement, will not liberate one inch of our occupied Palestinian land, which requires a rewriting for the Arab political strategy based on the failed "two-state solution" which was terminated by Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and Netanyahu's expansionist settlement decisions, including the annexation of the West Bank and the construction of a million settlement units, including 300,000 apartments in Jerusalem alone, to be inhabited by one million new Israeli settlers.

The Front also called on the Arab countries at their next ministerial meeting at the end of this month to adopt an alternative nationalist strategy based on the following foundations:

1) Providing political and material support for the uprising of our people through its civil institutions in the various fields of struggle, and providing financial support to the Palestinian Authority to free it from pressure and the American policy of extortion.

2) Calling on the Arab and Muslim countries that have relations with the Israeli entity to withdraw their ambassadors from it and to close the Israeli missions in their countries.

3) Boycotting the countries that transfer their embassies to Jerusalem.

4) Coordinating with the Palestinian leadership to draw up a new Palestinian political strategy based on combining the Intifada and the resistance in the field and internationalizing the Palestinian national rights and issue, including the disengagement from the Oslo Accords and their political, security and economic commitments, and working on achieving these steps:

A) Requesting the active membership of the State of Palestine in the United Nations General Assembly under the term of "united for the purpose of peace", according to Resolution 67/19 (granting the Palestinian State the observer status with Jerusalem as its capital on June 4th, 1967 borders and the return of refugees under Resolution 194.

B) Calling for an international conference on the Palestinian question under the auspices of the United Nations and the five permanent members of the Security Council under resolutions of international legitimacy that guarantee our people its legitimate national rights in freedom, self-determination, return and independence.

C) Requesting the international protection for our people, our land and our Jerusalem from the occupation, the policy of plundering the land, and the destruction of the Palestinian national economy.

D) Submitting without hesitation immediate complaints to the International Criminal Court against the Israeli crimes and war crimes against our people and land, to delegitimize the occupation and increase the isolation of the Israeli entity and the American administration.

The DFLP concluded its statement by saying that the battle of the masses of our people against Israel will not stop until the end of occupation and settlement and the establishment of the independent and sovereign Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital, on June 4th, 1967 borders and resolving the refugee issue by Resolution 194, which guarantees them the right to return to their homes and properties.
