DFLP warned about the damage to UNRWA and the Right of Return

DFLP said that true peace lies in implementation of international law resolutions, the complete Israeli withdrawal, the establishment of a Palestinian state and the right of refugees to return.

Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) warned about the danger of harming the right to return of Palestinian refugees, to their homes and properties from which they have been expelled since 1948, and harming the UNRWA, its financing and the definition of the 'Palestinian refugee' concept.

It said that talking about the resettlement of Palestinian refugees, as was expressed by the sponsor of the Bahrain workshop and the Trump agreement, Jared Kouchner, and to dry up UNRWA resources to finance the Bahrain workshop, constitutes a very dangerous position, open to many possibilities and developments, that will generate chaos and unrests in the region.

It also said that the way the United States tries to address the Palestinian problem in the name of spreading peace in the region, is no more than an excellent recipe to start more wars and bloody conflicts in the region.

The Front also emphasized that true peace is achieved by obeying the resolutions of international law, which establishes the withdrawal of Israel from all Palestinian and Arab territories occupied during the June 5, 1967 aggression, the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with capital in Jerusalem at the borders before June 5, 1967, and solving the refugee problem by virtue of Resolution 194, which guarantees them the right to return to their homes and properties from which they have been expelled since 1948.
