She dedicated her life to the struggle in defense of the legitimate rights of the people, the struggle for independence, freedom, return, and in defense of the rights of Palestinian women to equality and social justice.
She was born on October 5, 1948 in the city of Tabaria.

Activist and leader of the National Movement, member of the Palestinian National Council, Vice Chairperson of the General Union of Palestinian Women and President of the Al-Najda Association for the Development of Palestinian Women.
She lived through the Al-Nakba (the Palestinian Catastrophe), moved to Lebanon and later to the camps in Syria, before returning to the soil of the fatherland in the early 1990s.
She contributed to the national and social struggles from her position as a leader in the various Palestinian demonstrations.
She died on June 29, 2015, at a time when her role and her contribution to the struggle and in defense of national Palestinian rights were at their peak.
